Our wacky schedule for this week just got a little wackier! Because of the overnight weather forecast, we are calling a 2-hour delayed start for tomorrow, Tuesday 2/22/22. We want to make sure our buses, families, and staff can all get to school safely in the morning. Give yourself some extra time to drive slowly and carefully tomorrow morning. Reminder: Wednesday is a half-day and there is no school Thursday. So, a 2-hour delay Tuesday, an early release Wednesday and no school Thursday.

Our Boys and Girls Basketball Teams are Going to State!!! Hip, Hip, Hooray!!! But that means 1/3 of students and staff will be out on Wednesday and Thursday this week.

If one or both PLHS Varsity Basketball team goes to the State Championship Tournament, What will next week look like at PLHS? Monday 2/20 Presidents Day, no school *Tuesday 2/21 Regular full day All 8 classes * Wednesday2/22 12:00 dismissal Tutoring and Workshops *Thursday 2/23 No school * If neither team qualifies for state, we will not be running this schedule. We will hold school as usual 7:30-3:15 Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday

Wow! What a night we had last night! JV played great, the Girls dominated, and the boys fought hard to earn that W in the biggest nail-biter in sports history! Girls are now 7-0 in league play and boys are now 6-1 in league play. What amazing records! Next up: Friday night at Excel Christian Academy on Baring Blvd. at 6:00 and 7:30 and then home on Saturday vs. Oasis AT HOME at 2:00 and 3:30. Please wear a mask if you join us in person. (even if you have been vaccinated and/or boosted)  One (1) or more of the following symptoms:  Fever (temperature 100.4°F at rest)  Respiratory symptoms (cough, shortness of breath, and/or diculty breathing)  New loss of smell or taste OR  Two (2) or more of the following symptoms:  Chills  Feeling cold and shivering  Muscle pain or aches  Headache  Vomiting (If only symptom, 48-hour exclusion1.)  Diarrhea (If only symptom, 48-hour exclusion1.)
