Good Morning Lakers! Happy first day of school! We hear there are some internet outages for some of our families. Here is a list of places where you can access the internet for free. Today we have advisory at 9:00am and 1st period at 10:15. Tomorrow we will have second period at 9:00 and 3rd period at 10:15. To access your classes, please log in to your Chromebooks using your PLHS account and navigate to Google Classroom or Google Meets. See you in the virtual classroom!

Good afternoon, Lakers! Classes start at 9:00am this Monday, August 17th! Attendance is required in order to receive credit in your courses. This means students must go to both Google Meets for the day and checking in with your other two teachers via email, phone call, or completed assignment. Students check your school email and google calendar to log into your meetings.

Students: Did you miss orientation for virtual learning this week? We want to make sure you know how to participate in virtual learning! Please join us for a virtual orientation for virtual learning next week. We will be offering them each day at 2:30 on Google Meet. To join us, make sure you are logged in to Chrome using your PLHS account (firstnamelastname@plhs.us), and go to https://meet.google.com/hkb-uhcj-skz You can join us any day--Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday at 2:30.

PLHS is offering a training on virtual learning for parents. This training will cover the different programs your students will be utilizing this quarter and expectations. Virtual/On-Line Chromebook Training Option

Update: PLHS Local Bus Pick-Up Information for Next for Week's Chromebook Distribution/Training

Next week we will be handing out Chromebooks for Virtual Learning to our PLHS Students. On-reservation students will attend a half day training on campus according to the schedule below. Transportation will be provided and breakfast and lunch will be served. Students will be required to wear masks and have a temperature check prior to entering the building. They do not need to bring any backpacks or supplies with them. Monday, Aug. 10: 8:30-12:00 6th -8th Grade Students Tuesday, Aug. 11: 8:30-12:00 9-10th Grade Students Wednesday, Aug. 12: 8:30-12:00 11th-12 Grade Students For the Students residing off-reservation, PLHS teachers will be getting in touch with students to set up the virtual training opportunities.
